Full Job Description

Hill Country Family Clinic is seeking a full-time and part-time licensed Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Direct Primary Care and wellness practice. Current clinic hours needing coverage include Mondays – Thursdays from 9 AM–4 PM and Fridays from 9 AM–2 PM.

This is an excellent opportunity for a provider seeking better work/life balance, clinical autonomy, and a more meaningful patient experience. Our practice does not accept insurance, allowing providers to focus on personalized, relationship-centered care without the pressures of high patient volume or rushed visits.

Candidates should be comfortable with occasional rotation between clinic locations within approximately 15 miles of Dripping Springs/Bee Cave as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides examines, diagnoses and treats patients of the age group appropriate to clinic
  • Complete medical charts after each visit in the electronic medical records system
  • All other duties or responsibilities as assigned by Medical Director
  • Sound medical decision making abilities.
  • Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, MRIs, electrocardiograms and laboratory studies; interpreting test results.
  • Complies with federal, state and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
  • Maintains timely and accurate records in EMR and adheres to all HIPAA protocols.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a healthcare clinical setting Family Medicine preferred
  • Previous work and proficiency using electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills are preferred but not required
  • Experience in a related field, such as general practice, family, emergency or internal medicine, urology, or endocrinology is preferred.
  • No current or pending malpractice lawsuits
  • Active state license in good standing
  • Active DEA Certificate, preferred, but not required
  • Active Controlled Substance Registration

  • Reliable transportation, we do have two locations that our providers alternate through as needed.

Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour
