Physician Assistant – Cardiology (Outpatient)
Baylor Scott & White Health | Waxahachie & Dallas, TX Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Patient Volume: Approximately 16–17 patients per day
Position Overview
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our outpatient cardiology team serving Waxahachie and Dallas, TX. This role focuses on general cardiology in a clinic-based setting and offers a predictable weekday schedule with minimal weekend responsibility.
The position is split between two clinic locations:

Waxahachie – 3 days per week

Dallas – 2 days per week
New graduates are welcome to apply, though prior cardiology experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities

Provide outpatient care for general cardiology patients

Perform patient evaluations, follow-ups, and ongoing disease management

Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams

Order and interpret diagnostic tests

Document care plans and coordinate patient services

Participate in infrequent weekend rounding rotation at Greenville Hunt Regional
Schedule & Call

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

No call requirements for APPs

Weekend rounding approximately one weekend every 2–3 months
Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

NCCPA certified or eligible
-
Licensed or eligible for PA licensure in Texas

Cardiology experience strongly preferred

Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION – Grad of an Accredited Program – EXPERIENCE – Less than 1 Year of Experience – CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION – Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer. Physician Assistants (PA): Must have a PA license through the state of TX.
