Arthritis Care of Texas is a rapidly growing, high-volume rheumatology practice dedicated to delivering comprehensive, compassionate, and cutting-edge care to patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders. We currently have a team of experienced Nurse Practitioners and are expanding our clinical staff to meet increasing patient demand.
With in-office ultrasound-guided procedures, an on-site infusion center, and a collaborative physician-led team, our practice provides a unique, efficient, and patient-centered work environment.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a passion for rheumatology and chronic disease management. This full-time position involves working in a dynamic outpatient clinic setting with support from board-certified rheumatologists and a strong clinical support team.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with rheumatologic conditions under supervision of a rheumatologist
- Perform and interpret musculoskeletal exams and diagnostics
- Provide follow-up care and chronic disease monitoring
- Collaborate with in-house infusion team and coordinate biologic therapy management
- Document thoroughly in our EMR (eClinicalWorks)
- Participate in patient education and support
- Work with a collaborative team including physicians, NPs, and medical assistants
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant
- Certification from AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA
- Experience in rheumatology, internal medicine, or primary care preferred but not required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a busy outpatient schedule and function independently
- New graduates with strong clinical interest in rheumatology are welcome to apply
