Job SummaryLocal Urgent Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our urgent care team. This role is ideal for a provider who thrives in a dynamic Urgent Care setting, is confident in independent decision-making, and values both efficiency and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
  • Perform procedures such as laceration repair, incision & drainage, splinting, and more
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays, etc.)
  • Provide clear discharge instructions and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Experience

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
  • Perform procedures such as laceration repair, incision & drainage, splinting, and more
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays, etc.)
  • Provide clear discharge instructions and follow-up care

  • Willingness to perform and learn occupational medicine services
  • Interest in obtaining DOT Medical Examiner Certification (support provided if needed)
