Snyder Dermatology is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our busy, established dermatology practice in Austin, Texas.
Prior dermatology experience is required. We are specifically looking for an advanced practice provider who is already comfortable evaluating and treating dermatologic conditions and can confidently step into a busy clinical environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dermatology provider looking to join a well-established, physician-led practice with a strong patient base, experienced support staff, and opportunities to continue growing professionally.
About the Role
Our Advanced Practice Providers work closely with our board-certified dermatologists while maintaining an independent patient schedule. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, efficient, personable, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of medical dermatology conditions
- Perform comprehensive skin examinations
- Diagnose and manage acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, hair loss, and other common dermatologic conditions
- Evaluate suspicious lesions and skin cancers
- Perform appropriate dermatologic procedures within training and scope of practice
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide patient education
- Accurately and efficiently document visits in the EHR
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and the clinical team when appropriate
- Maintain a productive schedule while providing thoughtful, high-quality patient care
- Participate in ongoing clinical education and practice initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Current PA-C or NP licensure and eligibility to practice in Texas
- Professional dermatology experience as a PA or NP
- Strong medical dermatology knowledge and clinical judgment
- Experience performing dermatologic examinations and procedures
- Ability to independently manage a busy patient schedule
- Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and patient satisfaction
This is not an entry-level dermatology position. Candidates without prior dermatology provider experience will not be considered.

Pay: $130,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year
