Job Title: LVN/Medical Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Full-Time LVN or Medical Assistant to join our very friendly pediatric practice. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and families, provides excellent patient care, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams, including taking vital signs and medical histories
- Assist the pediatrician during examinations and procedures
- Administer vaccinations and medications as directed
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records (EHR)
- Manage patient flow and referrals
- Maintain vaccine inventory
- Provide clear instructions and support to parents and caregivers
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use
Qualifications:
- Licensed LVN or Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (preferred)
- Previous experience in pediatrics or family medicine is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with children of all ages
- Basic computer and EHR proficiency
