Physician Assistant (PA)
Position Summary
The Physician Assistant (PA) will provide comprehensive medical care to patients with vascular and venous conditions in the outpatient setting. This role involves close collaboration with vascular surgeons to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, including clinic evaluations, procedural assistance, and hospital-based responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic interpretation
- Develop and implement treatment plans for vascular and venous conditions under physician supervision
- Provide patient education on disease processes, treatment options, and post-procedure care
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
- Assist physicians during vascular and venous procedures as needed (e.g., ablations and ultrasound-guided interventions)
- Perform rounds at affiliated hospitals
- Collaborate with physicians on care plans, discharge planning, and follow-up
- Communicate patient updates with multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current PA licensure (TN, MS and/or AR license preferred)
- NCCPA certification required
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in vascular surgery, cardiology, or surgical specialties preferred

Work Environment
- May require travel between office locations and affiliated hospitals
- Participation in call schedule may be required
