Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and administrative support to ensure high-quality patient service and efficient operations.
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Perform intake duties including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation of patient information.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding, anatomy, and physiology to facilitate effective communication with healthcare teams.
- Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns and educating patients on treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
- Experience in women’s health is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of vital signs assessment and intake procedures.
