We are looking to add Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to our team that will contribute to our mission along with embodying the same values as us. Job Responsibilities
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide inpatient psychiatric care to our patients on a full-time basis. The PMHNP or PA will provide direct patient care, stabilize patients, minimize complications, provide physical and psychological support, facilitate restoration of maximal health potential, and evaluate health risk factors. They will perform diagnostic assessments, acquire health histories, perform examinations, prescribe, and manage psychiatric medications.
Appropriately document medical interventions, including initial patient history, physical examination, review of current medications, labs and other relevant information from the patient’s medical chart, clinical progress, and interventions, and collaboration with other applicable healthcare providers.
Perform comprehensive mental health assessment and psychiatric evaluation, to include mental health status, current/history of violence, suicidal or self-harm behavior, substance use, trauma, sexual behaviors, and social/developmental history.

Education
Master’s Degree level Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
Or in select states, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related master’s degree or equivalent experience together with Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role
