Locum Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant – 6+ month contract

We are searching for a locum physician assistant with pre- and post-operative cardiothoracic surgery experience to provide inpatient night coverage for our client in Tyler, Texas. This is an ongoing coverage need. Further details below! Physician Assistant: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Location: Hospital Facility in Tyler, TX Pay: $115/hour Contract: Ongoing Need – 6 month commitment Schedule: 7pm-7am; Monday-Friday; No Call Duties: Rounding in ICU, pre and post cardiac surgery, managing patients coming off vents, providing care for patients coming from OR (open heart, vats, lung cases) Caseload: Average 20-25 patients/shift, rounding patients assigned

Requirements:

• Texas Medical License Required
• ACLS
• BLS
• Must be able to work nights
