Job OverviewSeeking Physician Assistant to assist with post-op clinic care for busy surgical practice in Southlake, TX. You will work in the post-op department and oversee pre-op and post-op care, including wound care as needed.

Physician Assistant Qualifications
- PA licensed in TX
- Team player
- Ability to self-organize, prioritize and multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Excellent dependability
- Must be very focused and organized to ensure the highest level of care efficiently in a thriving, well-run practice.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Manage pre-op clearance and postoperative care of patients including pain management, incision care, drain care, wound care, and monitoring of postoperative results.
- Ensure every patient has proper follow up and post-operative management
- Maintain strong relationships with your patients
- Determine care plans for patients at various stages of recovery
Experience
- Must have at least 3 yrs experience in a surgical specialty to be considered
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are critical.

Schedule: M-F
On-Call: In this role, you would share rotating home call coverage, every 4th to 5th week with current staffing.
