Job Title: Perm – Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Endocrinology
Location: 5009 Schertz Pkwy, Building 1Schertz, TX 78154
Shift: Days5x8-Hour(8:00am – 5:00pm)
Pay Rate: $91,000-$123,000/Yearly.Job Description:
Our beautiful state of the are health and wellness centers offer a variety of services including on-site physical therapy, health and nutrition coaching, mental health care and more! This individual will function independently to assess, diagnose, and treat or recommend courses of treatment for adult diseases, with particular emphasis on disorders of the endocrine system and metabolism. This is a well-supported position, partnering with Primary Care Physicians, Clinical Pharmacist, Care Navigators and RNs in a collaborative care model.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Master’s degree in nursing or Bachelors/Masters Physician Assistant Studies
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- Current license to practice in the state of Texas.
- Minimum two (2) years hands-on experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Certified Diabetes Educator preferred.
Submission Requirements
- Must have a proven track record of working with Diabetes and Endocrinology – Required
- AANP or NCCPA – Required
- ACLS, BLS (through AHA) – Required to obtain before starting
- DEA – Required
- Certified Diabetic Educator – Required
- Active TX license – Required, but will allow compact
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $91,000.00 – $123,000.00 per year
