Full time Mid-Level Provider Physician Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. May focus on health promotion and pain management. May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x rays. May prescribe medication. Must be registered nurses who have specialized graduate education.

Position Overview:In this role, you will work closely with our physicians to assess, diagnose, and manage patients. You will provide direct patient care through physical exams, treatment planning, medication management, ordering diagnostic test, procedures and follow-up care, all while utilizing a team-based approach to ensure the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with pain conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and manage individualized pain management treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with patient needs and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
  • Educate patients and families on pain management techniques and procedures, medication use, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Provide culturally competent care to Spanish-speaking patients, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Texas.
  • Experience in pain management or related field preferred but willing to train
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred) and English (required).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
