Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions. This role requires a strong foundation in clinical skills, excellent patient assessment abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare in various settings.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients across the lifespan.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret lab results to guide treatment decisions.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health management, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Engage in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and advance nursing practices.
- Utilize EMR systems (such as ECW) for efficient patient record management.
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner license with appropriate certifications.
- Experience in primary care or family medicine preferred; experience with pediatrics is a plus.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment protocols related to various specialties such as geriatrics, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and behavioral health.
- Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and medical documentation standards.
- Skills in performing procedures such as suturing, trigger point injections, skin biopsies etc.
- Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice and palliative care is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $104,329.41 – $125,644.02 per year
