Full Job Description
Texas Liver Consultants has an opening for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who will work collaboratively with our team of dedicated team at Texas Liver Institute in San Antonio, TX.
We are interested in employing a bilingual, highly motivated nurse practitioner or physician assistant to help care for our patients with liver disease.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient information, visit history, lab follow-up, phone calls, and consults are accurately documented in the electronic medical record (EPIC)
- Answer emails/voicemails and return patient calls in a timely manner
- Serve as a resource for the nursing and medical assistant staff
- Eventually work independently and provide high level care to patients with liver disease
- Develop expertise in liver disease as part of a team delivering cutting edge care
Requirements::
- Must be a graduate of an accredited training program
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in the state of Texas (Required)
- Minimum of 1 year of APP experience (Preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) (Required)
