Our Orthopedic practice is looking for an Orthopedic Physician Assistant for clinic, surgical assisting, and minimal call rotation. We are conveniently located East of Dallas, in Rockwall.
Physician Assistant Description
Orthopedic surgeon is seeking a permanent, full-time Physician Assistant to compliment an existing practice. The ideal Physician Assistant will provide medical, and surgical assistance to the surgeon. The PA will assist in the OR and needs to have or develop a level of independence in the clinic setting. Successful candidates should be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and have a great bedside manner. The surgeon is willing to train the right applicant and new grads are welcome. Responsibilities include H&P’s, patient evaluation and education, administer injections, obtain diagnostic testing and review, write prescriptions, surgical first assist, and rounding/discharging patients from local area hospitals.
Job Requirements
- Must hold a current license to practice as a physician assistant in Texas.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- Must hold National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant
- Current ACLS/BLS/PALS Certification.
- Active unrestricted DEA license
PA Compensation
Compensation: Highly competitive base salary and benefits packages depending on experience.
