Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician Assistant (PA) to join our patient-centered medical practice. As a PA, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, comprehensive care to patients across all age groups. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to provide preventive care, manage chronic conditions, and promote overall wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, obtain medical histories, and assess patient health.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including infections, hypertension, diabetes, and respiratory disorders.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work, imaging, and lab results.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications as needed.
- Educate patients on preventive health, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Provide patient follow-up and continuity of care through telehealth, phone consultations, and in-person visits.
- Assist with minor procedures, wound care, and routine vaccinations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education to stay current with best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current state PA license and NCCPA certification.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine (preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
