Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician Assistant (PA) to join our patient-centered medical practice. As a PA, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, comprehensive care to patients across all age groups. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to provide preventive care, manage chronic conditions, and promote overall wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, obtain medical histories, and assess patient health.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including infections, hypertension, diabetes, and respiratory disorders.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work, imaging, and lab results.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications as needed.
  • Educate patients on preventive health, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Provide patient follow-up and continuity of care through telehealth, phone consultations, and in-person visits.
  • Assist with minor procedures, wound care, and routine vaccinations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current state PA license and NCCPA certification.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine (preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
