Job Title: PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTLocation: Plano, TX (Hybrid – In-office & Remote)Hours: 10-20 hours/week, with 1-2 in-office days (50% in-office)

As part of our expanding services, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will help patients address a variety of psychiatric conditions and provide the necessary care and support to improve their overall mental well-being.

Position Overview:This part-time position offers a combination of in-office and remote work. The in-office component will be at our Plano, TX location, with office hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM. The role will require you to work 10-20 hours per week, with a minimum of 1-2 days required in the office. The remainder of your hours will be flexible and can be done remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and others.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, utilizing both medication management and psychotherapy techniques.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, and mood stabilizers, in accordance with treatment plans.
• Offer ongoing mental health counseling to help patients manage symptoms and improve coping strategies.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the most effective care.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients and ensure comprehensive treatment.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT IS REQUIRED*********************************************

• Current licensure in the state of Texas.
• Experience in psychiatric care, including diagnosis, medication management, and therapy, is required.
• Strong understanding of mental health conditions and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to both in-office and remote work settings.
• Experience with evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and other therapeutic approaches is preferred.
