Job Title: Physician Assistant – Orthopedic Practice

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic conditions under physician supervision
– Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments
– Conduct joint injections, suturing, casting, and other in-office procedures
– Educate patients on treatment plans, rehabilitation protocols, and preventive care
– Document all patient encounters accurately in the EHR system
– Coordinate care with other team members to ensure high-quality outcomes
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program
- State License
- TMB PA License (Required)
- BLS certification
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Continuing education is required to maintain certification. Must complete 100 hours of continuing education every 2 years and a recertification exam is required every 10 years
Schedule & Location:
– Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule
– One office location – no travel between clinics
