Immediate opening has come up for a great well established outpatient Neurology practice based in Plano, TX for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant . It is a full time position with excellent benefit package. Work hours are from Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
Job duties : Under the guidance of the neurologist, provide medical care and treatment to patients. Perform physical exams, document patient history, order labs, required diagnostic tests, appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prescribe appropriate interventions and medications, and contribute to excellent patient care. We are looking for candidate who is motivated, hardworking with ability to work independently under the physician’s guidance. The candidate should have great written and oral communication skills and ability to multitask. The job involves providing predominantly office based care with some after hour phone calls and coverage.
Qualification: Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Must hold all required licenses and certification to practice in Texas including DEA certification. Previous Neurology experience preferred but not required.

Pay: $98,496.00 – $107,138.00 per year
