About the Role:

As a Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare to patients across various settings, including emergency medicine, urgent care, and primary care. Your primary responsibility will be to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, ensuring that they receive timely and effective care. You will also be involved in patient education, helping individuals understand their health conditions and treatment options. This position requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • State licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings.
  • Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) or pediatric advanced life support (PALS).
  • Bilingual proficiency to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Assist in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting results to guide patient care.
  • Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by supervising physicians.
  • Educate patients and their families about health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
