Nurse Practitioner Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform comprehensive assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. This role requires a strong commitment to patient wellness and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide pediatric primary and preventive care
- Provide pediatric acute care services such as management of common pediatric acute illnesses, chronic conditions and minor trauma
- Record medical history, provide physical examinations and follow-up care
- Works well with Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Onsite training available
- Provide individual patient instruction in accordance to prescribe treatment plan
- Prescribe appropriate medication to patients as needed according to medical protocols and standard medical practice
- Identify psychological and emotional problems
- Adhere to Quality Improvement guidelines and participates in Quality Improvement programs
- Participate in Provider meetings as required
Qualifications and Skills
- Current license in the state of Texas
- New graduates can apply

Pay: $75.00 per hour
