Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting in diagnostic evaluations, and managing acute pain. This position requires a strong understanding of primary care practices, clinical trials, and adherence to HIPAA regulations. The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with acute pain management needs.
- Administer injections and perform necessary procedures as required.
- Participate in clinical trials and research activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care for patients.
- Stay current with advancements in medical knowledge, particularly in anatomy and pain management techniques.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience in primary care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of acute pain management strategies and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with clinical trials and research methodologies is a plus.
- Proficient understanding of HIPAA regulations and standards of patient care.
- Experience administering injections is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: $135,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
