“`Job Overview“`We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician’s Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a PA/NP, you will provide comprehensive care to patients, diagnose and treat illnesses, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
“`Duties“`- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions- Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs- Provide education and counseling to patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment plans- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Perform procedures such as catheter care, wound care, and specimen collection processing- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
“`Qualifications“`- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant license in Texas– Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and pharmacology. Strong Knowledge of Neurology preferred.- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system for accurate diagnosis coding- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
