Full Job Description
“`Duties:“`- Provide comprehensive patient care under the supervision of a physician- Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies- Prescribe medications and other treatments- Perform minor procedures, such as suturing and wound care- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
“`Requirements:“`- Valid Physician Assistant license in Texas- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program- Experience in senior care, or primary care is preferred- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests- Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
