We are seeking a physician assistant (PA) to join our team at Comprehensive Neurosurgery. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist the supervising neurosurgeon in the OR
– Conduct physical exams, pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications- Manage patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and clinic setting
– Evaluate patient problems in person or via phone and provide appropriate intervention or referral- Counsel patients and their families on preventive health care- Plan treatment and document information using eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure efficient data management using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
-Responsible for coding and compliance regarding charges generated
– Collaborate with the neurosurgeon to develop and implement patient care plans.
Qualifications- Texas licensed & Board-Certified Physician Assistant
– Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program- The PA will be currently licensed to practice as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times- The PA will report to the physician and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 per year
