Specialty Care Clinics is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team in Laredo, Texas. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and a collaborative work environment in a leading healthcare organization dedicated to providing top-tier care.
Position SummaryThe Physician Assistant will work alongside our skilled team of healthcare providers to deliver exceptional care to patients. You will perform clinical duties, conduct exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, and educate patients on health management. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, organized, and have a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams and medical history reviews
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop treatment plans and manage patient care
- Prescribe medications within the scope of practice
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and preventive care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
- Valid PA licensure in Texas
- Prior experience in clinical settings preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
