Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong interests in dermatology and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our team of dermatologists, dermatology residents, and other PAs to diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatological conditions, perform procedures, and provide patient education. We will be providing structured and graduate level training in dermatology to our physician assistants.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat various dermatological conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer.
- Perform dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and suturing, with precision and accuracy.
- Prescribe medications, topical treatments, and other therapeutic interventions as needed.
- Provide patient education on skincare, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dermatology through continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- State licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Eager and ready to learn; we will be providing didactic and clinical education for all new physician assistants.
- Strong clinical skills with proficiency in conducting physical examinations and performing dermatologic procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $250,000.00 per year
