Essential Skills and Abilities:
- An existing well established Medical Spa in Austin is currently seeking a Full-Time or part time Physician Assistant /Nurse Practitioner to implement a medical weight loss program.
- Our weight loss program has a mission of compassion and professional care for people who suffer from obesity.
- The practice will utilize a multidisciplinary approach including injections, blood work (must be able to interpret lab results and develop plan of care), & medication. We are 100% complainant with TMB guidelines.
- Candidates must be of graduate of an accredited school, licensed by the state board and have strong references.
- 3-5 years of clinical experience.
- Days of availability include Monday through Friday. No major holiday hours (clinic closes for all official holidays). Telehealth days are available.
- Computer literacy and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to manage patient education and questions for optimal outcomes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time wisely
- Excellent communication skills for in office communication as well as digital/social media platforms and marketing support for non- surgical procedures and treatments
- Ability to work as a team member and refer patients throughout the continuum of care in the office, including coordinating patient care with other providers
- Well-organized in managing patient needs and supporting educational efforts throughout office activities.
- Treats patients and co-workers with respect
- Weight Loss Program and NP role will be supported by RN
Responsibilities:
1. Primary Duties
- Provide on-site initial exams and follow-up appointments.
- Nurse Practitioner and physician will follow all accepted safe practices and all state laws pertaining to the supervision of practice for a non-physician provider performing patient services.
- Deliver care in accordance with mutually agreed upon guidelines that are developed by the physician and nurse practitioner/physician assistant to provide optimal non-surgical outcomes for patient treatments.
2. Secondary Duties
- Will prepare rooms, products, devices, etc. for use, document/record treatments in EMR, and clean rooms between each use.
- Will serve as provider of Good Faith Exams prior treatment if required/directed to do so.
3. Other Duties:
- As assigned.
LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required), OR
- Physician Assistant License (Required)
- DEA Certification (Required)
COMPENSATION:
- Depends On Experience. Negotiable.

SCHEDULE:
- Monday – Friday, 10 AM – 6 PM depending on scheduled appointments.
TIME OFF:
- 6 company holidays – Christmas, New Year’s Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, and July 4th
