Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing patients, diagnosing conditions, and implementing treatment plans while ensuring adherence to best practices in medical care. The Physician Assistant will primarily focus on senior care, geriatrics, and critical care settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed medical histories from patients.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, with a focus on senior care and geriatrics.
- Perform procedures such as gastric lavage, suturing, and dermabrasion as needed.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with coding systems.
- Participate in critical care management when necessary, ensuring high standards of patient safety.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical practices and critical care protocols.
- Experience or training in geriatrics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques and familiarity with various medical procedures including gastric lavage, suturing, and dermabrasion.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $106,747.00 – $115,491.00 per year
