Core Responsibilities
As a key member of our collaborative team, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, evidence-based care:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing management for adults and adolescents with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medication and non-pharmacological treatment plans.
- Actively collaborate with physicians, therapists, and Primary Care Providers to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to patient well-being.
- Maintain meticulous electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and strict HIPAA compliance.
- Participate in team meetings as required to contribute to coordinated care strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid PMHNP license in the state of Texas is an absolute MUST.
- Experience with working in a mental health setting is REQUIRED
- Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Specialization and experience working with adult and adolescent populations.
- Ability to be physically present in the office 2 days per week, with flexibility to come in on other days if clinical needs require it.
