Primary Care Physician Assistant

Practice: White Oak Medical Associates – Houston, TX

Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday. Clinic hours are 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Flexible scheduling available. No evenings or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients ages 18+, including preventive, acute, and chronic condition management
  • Perform women’s health visits including pap smears and pelvic exams
  • Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret labs, prescribe medications, and manage treatment plans
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in the EHR
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care
  • Participate in patient education and wellness initiatives

Qualifications

  • Certified Physician Assistant
  • Active Texas license or ability to obtain
  • Preferred: 1+ year of experience in a primary care setting or women’s health
  • Open to stellar new graduates with prior experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
