Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, providing comprehensive care to patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and medication administration, as well as experience in senior care and hospital medicine.
Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Collect data for ongoing evaluation of treatment effectiveness.
- Stay updated on advancements in psychiatric medicine and best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in psychiatry or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medication administration is required.
- Experience in senior care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of hospital medicine practices is advantageous.
- Proficiency in data collection methods relevant to psychiatric assessments.
- Skills in catheterization may be beneficial for specific patient needs.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $90.00 – $110.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
