Full Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a diverse skill set to provide comprehensive medical services. They will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care and developing comprehensive care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform comprehensive patient histories and examinations
– Conduct medication refills and order diagnostic and/or laboratory tests for patients: headaches, seizures, memory problems, mild/major traumatic brain injuries, etc
– Ability to see adults and pediatrics preferred but not required
– Assess and triage new health concerns and communicating important findings
– Strong background in laboratory interpretation and diagnostics
– Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
– Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues
– Provide autonomous care for straightforward medical issues, while collaborating closely with the neurologist for new or complex problems
Qualifications:
– Current Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant licensure in the state of Texas.
– At least 1 year of experience in a neurology office setting preferred but not required; willing to train
– Ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy for routine patient issues
– Strong interpersonal skills and a profound love for caretaking
– Bilingual (Spanish Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 – $65.00 per year
