Summary:
Promotes and maintains patient health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician. Contributes to a physician’s efficiency by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues.
Job Description: Mid-Level Provider (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner)
Responsibilities:
- Perform new patient evaluations and pre- and post-procedure assessments.
- Formulate treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
- Provide thorough patient education and discussion of procedure expectations.
- Coordinate pre- and post-procedure care including, but not limited to phone follow-ups, medication management, ordering and interpreting pertinent laboratory and imaging studies, peri-procedural pain management.
- Assist and perform office-based procedures under physician supervision.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday.
- No nights, no weekends.
- No in-house calls.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a busy office/clinic setting is strongly preferred.
- Interventional radiology experience is not required.
- Willingness to travel between offices when needed.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
- PA-C or FNP-C
- Active DEA license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
