Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in various settings, including clinics and inpatient environments. This role requires a strong focus on patient care, critical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The Physician Assistant will play a vital role in patient assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform procedures such as administering injections, tube feeding, and acute pain management.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care for patients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient settings.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist in managing patients in critical care settings, including Level II Trauma Center environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Skills
- Experience working in a clinic or medical office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in critical care practices, particularly within Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) environments.
- Strong knowledge of discharge planning processes and acute pain management strategies.
- Ability to administer injections competently and safely.
- Familiarity with inpatient care protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay: $112,531.00 – $119,070.00 per year
