Palm Health Resources is hiring a a LOCUM Orthopedic Spine Surgery Physician Assistant near Houston, TX to mainly run the clinic with some OR time.
This is a Full Time, Locum Contract, 6-12 months, Preferably 12 month commitment, with an option to convert perm!
Start: Feb 2026
End: 6-12 Months
Schedule: Monday-Friday role, 8am-5pm, No weekends, No On-Call
Working with a renown Orthopedic Spine Surgeon.
The Physician Assistant (PA) (ACLS) functions as an advanced practice practitioner, responsible for maintaining and promoting the health of the patient requiring care, practicing medicine under the supervision of a licensed Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. This position will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical and preventative care, under the supervision of a physician. The PA (ACLS) position exams, diagnoses and decides treatment for patients, including analyzing and interpreting x-rays and lab results, writes prescriptions, takes patients’ histories, provides surgical assistance, and orders various forms of therapy. This position handling clinic outpatient situations and can perform independently under the license of a physician or as part of a treatment team.
