Schedule
Patients are seen in the office 4.5 days/ week, M-F, between 8am-4pm. On call duties are shared when the office is closed.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join our healthcare team. This position involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, with an emphasis on medical and surgical treatment as well as natural family planning and infertility. The candidate should be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, personalized care to patients. The practice is located on the beautiful Memorial Hermann, Memorial City Hospital campus, providing easy access to surrounding neighborhoods, attractions, and dining. The Memorial Villages offer the perfect balance of suburban living with convenient access to the amenities of Houston.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients to diagnose and treat various gynecological and obstetric conditions.
- Provide prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care to expectant mothers.
- Perform routine gynecological procedures including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and immunizations.
- Executed a variety of surgical procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Administer ultrasound examinations to assess and diagnose patient conditions
- Maintain timely and accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options.
QualificationsCandidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Current unrestricted license from the Texas Medical Board to practice as a physician in the State of Texas.
- Annual continuing medical education as required by the Medical Board.
- Must be registered and have current DEA, and other such certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in the State of Texas.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of women’s health.
