Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing practioner and Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various medical settings, including hospital, outpatient, and urgent care environments. The Provider will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered services. Experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, and eClinicalWorks is preferred, along with proficiency in clinical procedures like suturing, injections, and airway management. Candidates with expertise in critical care, trauma centers, hospital medicine, and specialized areas such as geriatrics, pediatrics, or palliative medicine will be highly valued. This role involves conducting physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, medication administration, and patient assessments while adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions including pain management, infectious diseases, and post-acute care
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, injections, phlebotomy, and ventilator management
  • Document clinical findings accurately within EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks
  • Assist in diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging and laboratory data collection
  • Provide triage services in emergency room or urgent care settings to prioritize patient needs
  • Participate in clinical research trials and data management activities to support evidence-based practices
  • Develop discharge plans and coordinate post-acute or hospice & palliative care services
  • Administer treatments including dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, dialysis, or gastric lavage as applicable
  • Ensure infection control protocols are followed during all procedures and patient interactions
  • Educate patients on health coaching topics such as nutrition, family planning, addiction counseling, and medication adherence
  • Maintain accurate medical records using ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for billing and documentation purposes
  • Support hospital operations in Level I/II trauma centers or critical care units including ICU/PICU environments

Skills

  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
  • Experience administering injections and performing physical examinations with aseptic technique
  • Ability to manage airway devices including ventilators; familiarity with neonatal ventilators is a plus
  • Skilled in CPT coding and ICD coding for billing purposes
  • Critical care experience in hospital settings such as ICU or trauma centers preferred
  • Knowledge of telehealth platforms for remote patient consultations
  • Experience with hospital medicine including post-surgical care and discharge planning
  • Capable of performing complex procedures like cardiac catheterization or spinal tap when applicable
  • Familiarity with infection control practices and radiation therapy protocols
  • Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassionate communication and health coaching strategies
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms or outpatient clinics
