Rapid Clinic Urgent Care
New Start-Up position; Looking to hire both Full-Time and Part-time positions
2 New Locations under construction in Spring, TX; Estimated opening date January, 1, 2023
Physician Owned and Managed Practice (Both Emergency Medicine & Neurology Physicians involved)
SPANISH KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or PA School
Board certified as a nurse practitioner or PA-C with current Texas state licensure and DEA license with no restrictions
Ability to treat patients with respect, humility and utmost care
Clinical experience in an emergency, urgent care or ambulatory clinic setting for at least 1-2 years
BLS certified (Can cover costs to get BLS Certified)
Candidate must be able to read, write and speak English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
Comfortable seeing patients ages 5 years and up
Ability to perform and interpret basic in-house lab tests, including, UA, Pregnancy Tests, Strep, Influenza A/B, RSV, COVID-19 (Abbott ID Now Lab system are being used)
Comfortable with giving injections (IM injections only), suturing, I&Ds, administering immunizations
Experience with Sports Physicals, Drug Screens, Pre-employment Physicals a plus, but not required
Ability to evaluate and examine patients in a timely manner
Ability to properly document in a timely manner, and use appropriate billing and CPT codes in the EMR
Work closely with Chief Medical Officer and/or Supervising Physician to collaborate and provide insights to help improve patient safety, care and overall experience
Open to working on Saturdays

Licensing and CME expenses will be covered
X-ray reading not required
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55.00 – $70.00 per hour
