Full Job Description

This is a partnership opportunity available for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. FNP/PA has full autonomy but works under direct supervision of his or her supervising physician. Provider must respond to prescription refill requests, check and respond to faxes, check labs/documents and put in needed follow up on labs, follow through with image reports, and sign off on chart notes. Provider will be consulting with internal medicine patients in-person or the patients may schedule telehealth visit all within clinic hours. This is a fun, busy, yet exciting place to work!

Duties:

– Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging and laboratory tests- Prescribe medications and other treatments- Develop and implement patient care plans- Provide counseling and education to patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment options- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic health record systems (Charm EHR)

Qualifications:

– Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience required- Proficiency in medical coding and documentation practices- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices and procedures- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
