Full Job Description
Lifeline Urgent Care is an outcome-focused urgent care and occupational medicine clinic that takes pride in providing convenient, affordable, and personalized high-quality patient care to all ages. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collaborative healthcare team on a PRN basis with a minimum of 3 shifts per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations and exams, diagnose and develop evidence-based treatment plans for a variety of illnesses and injuries
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (x-rays, EKGs, labs, etc.)
- Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, I&Ds, and wound care
- Provide comprehensive occupational health services, including diagnosing and treating work-related injuries and illnesses, drug and alcohol screenings, and physical examinations for employment
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with a supportive healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care
- Maintain prompt, accurate charting in the EMR system and complete necessary paperwork related to workers’ compensation claims and occupational health services
Qualifications
- Texas NP or PA license
- Board Certification
- DEA Registration
- BLS (required), ALCS and PALS (preferred)
- DOT Certification preferred
- Master’s Degree
- Prior experience in urgent care or occupational medicine preferred
- Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative, dynamic environment
- Able to commit to working a minimum of 3 shifts per month
Pay Range: $60 – $75 per hour, commensurate with applicable experience
Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: $60.00 – $75.00 per hour
