Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role requires proficiency in various emergency procedures and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
Duties
- Assess and treat patients in emergency situations, providing immediate care for life-threatening conditions.
- Perform airway management and ensure proper ventilation for patients as needed.
- Administer medications and manage pain effectively to alleviate patient discomfort.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose conditions accurately.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain high standards of outpatient care, ensuring adherence to established protocols and guidelines.
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.
- Provide specialized treatments, including Botulinum toxin treatment when indicated.
Qualifications
- Fellowship or focus in Emergency Medicine or related field.
- APP Board certification
- Proven experience in a hospital setting, particularly in emergency departments.
- Strong skills in airway management, medication administration, and pain management.
- Familiarity with medical imaging technologies and their application in emergency care.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.

Pay: $94.00 per hour
