Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our growing Multi-specialty Cancer Care Center!
This candidate should have an interest in the inpatient (hospital) setting with potential for outpatient/clinic assistance as needed. The physician assistant will round in multiple hospital facilities around the Pasadena/Pearland/Clear Lake area for our practice. The physician assistant will specialize in Hematology/Oncology with the primary focus being Cancer- related Pain Management, and Palliative Care. The PA will be responsible for rounding on new consult’s as well as follow-up patients daily in the assigned hospitals. The PA will be responsible for working directly with the physician regarding patient care.
* Hospital credentialing will take anywhere from 60-90 days, so first 2-3 months tentatively will be training in the clinic setting with our MD’s and PA’s
*Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm
1-2 weekends per month
Holiday coverage (on call) as you will be alternating holiday coverage with the other physician assistant’s in our practice

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree from an accredited physician assistant program required
NCCPA license required
Texas Medical Board license required
ACLS/BLS certification highly preferred
