Physician Assistant
Urban Healthcare is seeking to add a Physician Assistant to our team in Heights, TX. We are a private practice clinic specializing in Primary Care. Our clinic is growing, and we are seeking an outstanding provider to join our team. Must be a graduate and certified from an accredited program. Must have clinical experience, with demonstrated ability to work autonomously, capable of providing care without onsite physician supervision. Curent, unrestricted Texas State license or be eligible for licensure. Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), both Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:Our patients receive higher quality primary care while our providers gain the freedom to spend quality time with their patients focusing on what they are trained to do best, providing high quality/high value patient care.
Maintaining accurate and current patient records.
Practicing in a modern setting with autonomy and support
Reviewing patient’s current symptoms, identifying diagnosis for care management and active medical management of treatment
Completing physical examinations, medication reviews, wound care and depression
Communicating assessment findings to inform the PCP of potential gaps in care
Clinical support from highly trained staff
Shifts are a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 8 hours.
