OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, and ensuring that all medical protocols are followed. This position requires a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Duties
- Provide care for acute illnesses in Pediatric patients
- Provide Well Child Check Up Birth to 18 year of age
- Provide preventive care, e.g., school/sports physical exams, chronic disease management and health risk screening programs.
- Triage patients who present with injury or illness beyond the capability of the clinic to the appropriate level of care.
- Discuss patient care with the parents & guardians, the supervising physician and other care-givers as appropriate.
- Document clinical care efficiently and completely with the assistance of an electronic medical record.
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess patients’ health status.
- Assist in clinical research initiatives to improve patient care practices.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care strategies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Strong clinical skills with experience in physical examinations, and vital signs assessment.
- Familiarity with medical office operations and electronic health record systems
- Experience or interest in a Pediatrics setting is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Must be able to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $98,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
