Full Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, and ensuring that all medical protocols are followed. This position requires a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

  • Provide care for acute illnesses in Pediatric patients
  • Provide Well Child Check Up Birth to 18 year of age
  • Provide preventive care, e.g., school/sports physical exams, chronic disease management and health risk screening programs.
  • Triage patients who present with injury or illness beyond the capability of the clinic to the appropriate level of care.
  • Discuss patient care with the parents & guardians, the supervising physician and other care-givers as appropriate.
  • Document clinical care efficiently and completely with the assistance of an electronic medical record.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess patients’ health status.
  • Assist in clinical research initiatives to improve patient care practices.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.

  • Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care strategies.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Strong clinical skills with experience in physical examinations, and vital signs assessment.
  • Familiarity with medical office operations and electronic health record systems
  • Experience or interest in a Pediatrics setting is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $98,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
