OverviewIdeal MD is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic primary care team. The PA will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. This role includes diagnosing and treating a variety of acute and chronic conditions, performing routine check-ups, and educating patients on preventive care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans based on medical history and examination findings.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret medical imaging results.
• Provide care in various settings, including clinics, critical care units, and home care environments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by supervising physicians.
• Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on urgency and medical necessity.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical practices.
• Experience in ER, acute pain management, critical care, or senior care is preferred.
• Proficiency in performing triage assessments and managing diverse patient populations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
