Full Job Description
Shift Frisco is seeking a licensed and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our integrative wellness and performance clinic., that will be opening soon. The ideal candidate will have experience or strong interest in hormone optimization, peptide therapy, and medical weight loss. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, strong diagnostic abilities, and a patient-centered approach to optimizing health, recovery, and performance.
The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with patients to assess hormone health, develop personalized treatment protocols, and monitor progress through evidence-based therapies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, and medical histories
- Diagnose and manage hormonal imbalances and metabolic conditions
- Develop and manage Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) protocols
- Design and oversee peptide therapy protocols
- Implement and monitor medical weight loss programs
- Order, review, and interpret lab work and diagnostic tests
- Adjust treatment plans based on clinical response and lab results
- Educate patients on treatment plans, lifestyle optimization, nutrition, and recovery
Required Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certification (FNP, AGNP, or similar)
- Current DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in functional medicine, hormone therapy, weight loss medicine, or wellness clinics preferred
- Strong knowledge of lab interpretation and metabolic health
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Ensure compliance with state medical regulations and clinical best practices
Pay: $50.00 – $75.00 per hour
