Full Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant with an active Texas license that has a strong background in Functional Medicine to join our growing Holistic Primary Care / Esthetic team. The ideal candidate has a passion for root-cause healing, patient education, and delivering personalized, intergrative care.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive functional medicine evaluations and follow-up visits.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Order/interpret advanced functional testing
- Manage chronic conditions through a functional medicine lens
- Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Elation, Athena, or eClinicalWorks to document findings accurately.
- Administer injections, including botulinum toxin treatments and other medications, following aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Document medical records with precision using ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards for billing and reporting purposes; manage CPT coding for procedures performed.
- Support telehealth consultations and remote patient monitoring to extend care access beyond traditional settings.
- Ability to manage a full-time patient panel
Experience
- Active PA license in Texas
- Minimum 2+ years of Functional or Integrative Medicine experience
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, supplements, lifestyle medicine, and lab interpretation.
- Passion of metabolic health, hormone balance, gut restoration, and personalized care
- Excellent communication, patient-centered care, and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and documentation requirements for billing purposes. Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
