Full Job Description

Resolution Think, LLC seeks certified Physician Assistant to join our team. Mission requirements are to ensure Active Military, Reservist, ARNG, DA Civilians, and Contractor Personnel are medically validated for deployment, upon re-deployment, resolve non-deployable conditions and perform full Separation History and Physical Examinations. All services are to be performed on Fort Bliss military installations, with the majority of services provided within the Soldier Readiness Processing Center and other soldier processing affiliated facilities (medical/dental) located throughout the installation. Such services are subject to the day-to-day supervision and control of designated government personnel in a manner comparable to that exercised over military and civil service personnel engaged in comparable health care services.

Essential Functions:
Primary health care providers serve in the capacity of a credentialed physician’s assistant to provide primary care services to Reserve Component patients. Primary health care providers serve in Emergency Rooms of military medical treatment facilities. Primary health care providers may perform independent examinations, and diagnosis and treat patients within personal credentials and privileges delineated by the MTF. Primary health care providers also provide leadership in emergency care services and auxiliary practices in general medicine to military and their family members and retirees in the Fort Bliss Community.

Tele-Health Services – Personal Healthcare Providers may be required to perform duties via Tele-Health as dictated by the Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) mission. Tele-Health is described as the use of electronic information and telecommunications technologies to support long-distance pre-mobilization, mobilization, deployments, and post-deployments. Tele-health may include, record screenings, interviews, referrals, clinical health care, patient and professional health-related education, public health and health administration. Technologies utilized for Tele-Health services include videoconferencing, the internet, store-and-forward imaging, streaming media, and terrestrial and wireless communications.

Job Responsibilities:
1.Provide medical examination, care, and treatment. Review medical history, examine personnel, make diagnosis of disease, or injury, and treat or provide a course of treatment to person being screened.

2. Initiate requests for tests, x-rays, and referrals to other medical treatment facility clinics as appropriate.

3. Follow-up on abnormal reports. Abnormal x-ray and lab reports received on service members shall be reviewed as soon as reports are available for review.

4. Seek advice of consultants when appropriate.

5. Prescribe medications, as appropriate, and in accordance with privileges granted.

6. Prepare and document physical examination and any diagnosis. Maintain documentation of all findings/ treatment in accordance with applicable directives and prepare such records/reports in accordance with applicable directives. Indicate responsibility for the contents and accuracy of all reports/forms completed by signing all such documents/records.

7. Complete each encounter at the end of the day and appropriately close the record.

8. Advise the leadership of the clinic where contracted services are provided of any issues/problems encountered or anticipated in connection with meeting the needs of service members treated. Continuing problems of any nature shall be reported in writing by the contractor to the COR.

9. Perform duties in accordance with applicable directives, in adherence to the Center for Disease Control guidelines concerning universal precautions and the MTF infection control program at all times, and in such a manner that they meet Joint Commission standards. Participate in the MTF Quality Assurance program as applicable to include performance of peer reviews.

10. Use of telecommunications and information technologies to provide health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, education, and health-related information across distances.

11. Utilize paraprofessional staff as appropriate.
