Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments such as urgent care or emergency rooms.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions under the supervision of a physician.
• Administer treatments and procedures, including IV infusions and pain management techniques.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Participate in research initiatives to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols in all aspects of patient care.
• Provide care in various settings, including inpatient units, emergency rooms, and outpatient clinics.

Skills

• Proficient in pain management strategies and techniques.
• Experience working in medical office settings or urgent care environments.
• Knowledge of physiology and its application in clinical practice.
• Familiarity with infection control measures to ensure patient safety.
• Ability to perform IV infusions competently.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy.
• Experience in ER settings is a plus but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
• Research skills to contribute to ongoing clinical studies or quality improvement projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
