Excel Cardiac Care is a well established and growing private cardiology group practice with earned reputation for providing excellent and personalized heart care in the communities we serve. We are searching for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
Ideal candidate is willing to work mostly at our Decatur, TX location. Cardiology experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provides medical services in mostly clinic setting and to some extent in hospitals.
- Provides quality patient care in relation to the patient’s prescribed diagnosis, treatment, and other identified needs.
- Document patient assessments and care in EMR system.
- Delegated supervision of stress tests
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests
- Prescribes medications, monitors therapies, and treats illnesses
- Reviews patient records to develop comprehensive medical status reports
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians on varied cases
- Ability to educate patients, families, and staff in a user-friendly manner
Requirements
- Active Texas License
- Strong clinical experience. Cardiology strongly preferred
- Degree in PA or NP studies from an approved program
- Required certifications and licenses in ACLS and BLS
- Prescriptive authority or DEA#
- Demonstrates effective communication skills and works to eliminate communication barriers
- Must be compassionate and demonstrate great customer service skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
